Maybe it's more of a question - would it be an even better photo if the cars were not cut off? Or would that take the focus away from the building? Not sure. I love the bright blue sky - nice exposure in challenging circumstances with half the building in shadow. I think this is my favourite of all your photos here.

#5 & 6 are great - I think I prefer #6 only slightly. They're both great. I like the red splotch in #5. And the composition. #6 is cool - I like that the top actually looks curved slightly because of the perspective.

#8 - I agree with Corina on this one. It looks a little - colourless, or washed out, or over-exposed.

Karlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01444254487814697197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195817278249479735.post-81986696533814053322012-10-09T21:09:17.490-05:002012-10-09T21:09:17.490-05:008. But you do like overexposed... ;pcorinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14359256931293583929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195817278249479735.post-42621845905879776262012-10-09T19:01:59.081-05:002012-10-09T19:01:59.081-05:00#2 is a very nice photo. I like it for all the reasons you said. :) I'm glad you have never seen inside.

#3 Has wonderful composition to show all the different patterns and textures.

#5 & #6 are fun and psychedelic. I prefer #6. It's a very strong pattern. I like that you can see a bit of sky and the branch in the corner.

#7 is perhaps my favorite. I like the simplicity of it. The leaves are a very nice touch. Did you place them there?

#8 nice perspective. It's beefy. It's bold. It's grand. Wondering why Corina doesn't like the exposure? I like it.

#9 I took a very similar photo in the exact same place. Craaaazy. I like it.

Lisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05814227762912543226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195817278249479735.post-15243042278220374082012-10-06T18:22:46.819-05:002012-10-06T18:22:46.819-05:001. The different elements of pattern are interesting and I like the colours. I like staircases and this one draws the eye and helps balance the bulkier brick and orange metal.
4. I like this photo enhanced. It makes me want to go back and edit the photo that I took in that same alley.
5/6. I like the subject and in 5. I especially like the unexpected shot of purple. The colour is a bit warm for my liking in both shots. I might like them more if they were tweaked.
7. I like the composition of the first #7 but I wish you had focused on the front of the sculpture and exposed it longer.
8. Cool photo but I don't like the exposure...

corinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14359256931293583929noreply@blogger.com
